First time on the 11 meters was in 1970, when in Rome there were only a few of us on CB. Active until 1980. Then, for other reasons and due to the extreme difficulty in maintaining intelligible QSOs between nearby stations, because of too much channel congestion and extreme deregulation, I left the CB world and focused only on radio listening. Now I've come back, still convinced that we could return to the days when free QSOs were possible.
